![]() ![]() As I had no more time to spare talking to Dell representatives I called I waited on the phone for a total of 2 hours just be hanged When the laptop was “now” supposed to arrive, I ask the representative toĬhange my address. As I was not going to be at my current address for the next week, The “resolution advisor” told me but rather would be shipped on following Representative informed that the computer was not going to be ready by the time Know if it was already shipped or if it was still being built. Monday I called dell to receive information on the progress of the computer to My address and told me I should receive my computer in a week. In 5 day exactly on a Thursday, a representative confirmed The representative informed me a “resolution advisor” would contact me toĬonfirm my address and give me additional information. Representative agreed and ordered me a replacement computer. Since I felt my money was invested in a defective computer which was notĭependable as it caused me many problems and lost all my information. Once again called dell and spent three hours on the phone with a technician, Less than a week my speakers did not work leaving my laptop with no audio. Seemed to work normally until I notice the overheating issue once again. Returned from Dell which they informed me they the fixed the heating issue,Īudio skipping problem, and irregular freezing of the screen. I spent a total of 2 weeks without my computer and withoutĪll my information since it was lost when the computer “crashed.” My computer Ship it to my old address causing me to spend more time without a laptop. I gave the representative my address but they still managed to Informed me that they would send a box to my house in which I would ship theīroken computer. Her adviceĭid not work leading me to have to ship my computer to dell. Representative helped me through many steps to help fix the problem. Turned all blank and was unable to turn back on. Soon after on January 1 st 2010 my computer So he said that I could just send the laptop when I finish school inĪpril, thus I agreed. Informed that the repairs and shipping would take longer than my break from I was notĪble to do this since I was starting university in a week, and I need to have aĬomputer to work with, so I informed the representative that I would send itĬhristmas Break 2009 arrived and I contacted dell. Informed me that I would need to send in my laptop to be repaired. I called Dell to report the continuing and worsening overheating issue. Purchased the computer but I overlooked the issue. I noticed the computer was overheating when I $1800 into a laptop hopping that I could trust it and use it for ![]() I purchased a dell computer, model XPS 13, in July 2009. this is my story sorry that it is lengthy but i included many details. Dell must has responsibility over this matter and treat customers with at least an once of respect. This shows the company does not back its product and realizes the common issues arises from this model. Dell has no stopped making the Dell XPS 13. Dell might be able to fix the problem but they have left me with several months with a broken computer and many hours on the phone with representatives that gave me unprofessional attitude to a customer with very serious concerns. Dell has treated me unfairly and with very little respect. This is my story about the many hours spent talking to Dell representatives and the stress the DELL XPS 13 has caused me.This computer had not been engineered properly with many common issues amongst all owners of the unfortunate XPS 13.
